Huntsman APAO Polymers


Huntsman APAO Polymers for Asphalt Paving APAO's (amorphous poly alpha olefins) are copolymers versions of polypropylene. APAO's can be produced to yield a variety of chemistries and configurations useful in modifying asphalt-paving binders. The key advantages include: Low cost Low Polymer Loading for a one grade improvement Limited effect on cold temperature performance Can be delivered in a molten state Ease and speed of blending by both high & low shear
